Method:

1. Measure 20 ml of each of the ten liquids being tested and pour into separate labelled bowls.
2. The bowls are left exposed to the air in the backyard on a wooden deck.
3. Every 2 hours each liquid that remained in the bowls is carefully measured with a measuring cup and the quantity left was noted in the results table.
4. Repeat step 3 at 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours, 10 hours and 12 hours and the results are recorded.
